Jennifer Jakubowski - Founder & Managing Director

ジェニファー・ジャクバウスキー

Since living in Nagoya at the age of eleven, Japan has been a constant thread in Ms. Jakubowski's life. At Kenyon College, she majored in International Studies with a focus on Japan and spent a year at Waseda University in Tokyo while living with a host family. She returned to Japan after college for two years to serve on the JET Program in Hokkaido, which was followed by a stint as a cultural liaison and radio broadcaster for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

After leaving Japan and pursuing an MA in International & Japanese Studies from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), Ms. Jakubowski made her way back to the U.S. where she began applying her cultural and language skills to the business world in New York City. After several years with a consulting firm specializing in Japanese-American workplace relations, she established Bridges to Japan and has been providing cross-cultural business solutions with a focus on Japan ever since.
